Ryan is the President of RKT Group, Inc. With his vast experience in all areas of the tennis and racket sport industry, Ryan has a proven record of bringing value to not only the local community he has lived and worked in but even more so to the global tennis community. Ryan is the CEO of Youth Tennis San Diego and General Manager of the Barnes Tennis Center, hired on May 1, 2020. Since his hiring, Ryan’s leadership during the pandemic set the organization and tennis center apart from the rest of the world. Ryan and his team were able to revamp the organization’s financial results, renovate and remodel the core areas of the 16 acre tennis center, and bring every level of tennis to the city of San Diego and the Barnes Tennis Center in just over a year of his hiring, including San Diego’s first ever junior ITF tournaments and the first ever ATP event, the San Diego Open. The USTA awarded the Barnes Tennis Center their most prestigious facility award, the USTA’s Featured Facility of the Year Award in November, 2021.

Prior to Ryan’s hiring as CEO of YTSD, he served as the Head Men's Tennis Coach and Director of Tennis at the University of the Pacific from 2010 to 2019, where he earned Coach of the Year Awards on three occasions (ITA Northwest Region, West Coast Conference, and Big West Conference) along with many USTA and ITA Community Service Awards. With the growth of the sport and development of the program, Ryan was instrumental in the development of the $5 million, Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center. Ryan was also responsible in bringing the first ever USTA Pro Circuit Events to the city of Stockton: the $100,000 ATP Stockton Men's Challenger and the $60,000 USTA/ITF Women's Challenger, along with the ITA Northwest Regional Championships, and numerous USTA NorCal tournaments.

Ryan currently serves as the Chair of the USTA Southern California Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee, is the Vice President of Lokahi Tennis, Vice President of the USPTA - San Diego/Coachella Valley district, and is a board member of the San Diego District Tennis Association. Ryan graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Religious Studies and has three children, River (13), Leif (8), and Saelah (6).
